At Forrest Rose Productions we believe that the Arts are for all and we strongly encourage performers of all gender, race, ethnicity and level of experience to apply. You do not need to be a represented performer to audition for any of our productions.

CINDERELLA (F) Playing Age (18-25)

​Classic principal girl. A kind hearted an generous girl who is constantly up beat and chipper even when consistantly put down by her two wicked step sisters.

​

Strong vocals and movement skills are essential. Good comic timing is a bonus as would be working closely with Dame and Comic throughout the show.

​

BUTTONS (M) Playing Age (20-30)

Pantomime Comic. Always looking for the humour in every situation. Hopelessly in love with Cinderella and would do anything for her. Will work closely in double act with our Dame.

​

Excellent comic timing and physicality is essential. Role will also involve some solo singing and dancing.

​

Prince Charming (M) Playing Age (20-30)

Principal Boy. Prince Charming is a suave, sophisticated no nonsence heir to the throne... on the outside. On the inside he is a sweet, caring and shy who hates being the centre of attention. His true colours come out when he is around Cinderella.

Strong vocals and excellent character work required.

​

THE WICKED STEPSISTERS (F) Playing Age (20-30)

The baddies! Cinderellas step sisters are fair of face but foul of heart and will take every opportunity to make Cinderella's life a misery.

​

This production will showcase two female identifying performers as The Wicked Sisters and not two pantomime dames as is traditional in some other productions of this title.

 

Excellent characterisation skills and strong vocal and movement skills are essential.

​

DANDINI (M/F) Playing Age (20-30)

The Princes Valet and closest friend. Doesn't understand why the prince is so bored with is royal position.

​

Strong Character stills are important for this role. 

 

THE FAIRY GODMOTHER (F) Playing Age (Any)

Cinderella bumbling Fairy Godmother.

​

Good comic timing and excellent singing voice required.
